Chase Youth Enrichment Fund

The Chase Youth Enrichment Fund provides financial assistance to youth from low-income families wishing to participate in enriching experiences like camps, sports, and afterschool activities. The fund was established as a memorial to Mayor James E. Chase upon his passing. Since that time, hundreds of young people have been able to access and experience activities that contributed to their growth and development.

For the many years, the Chase Youth Foundation has raised money for the Enrichment Fund and worked in partnership with Spokane Neighborhood Action Program (SNAP) to disburse scholarships to students in need. The collaboration has been rewarding for all those involved. However, due to dwindling resources, SNAP will no longer be able to adminster the Enrichment Fund. The Chase Youth Foundation is now considering its options for continued investment in reaching low-income children and youth with enrichment opportunities. Stay tuned for new developments!

In the meantime, we thank SNAP for its many years of commitment to positive youth development and for helping us reach those most in need through the Chase Youth Enrichment Fund.
