Chase Youth Commission Looking For Youth and Adult Members
Are you interested in creating a voice for youth in Spokane? Help us expand opportunities for youth to influence policy, shape programs, and coordinate activities. The Chase Youth Commission has openings for young people ages 13 - 18 and adults interested in addressing a variety of community youth issues. Youth and adults work together to advise local city, county, state, and federal elected officials and community organizations on youth issues, organize community youth-focused events such as the Chase Youth Awards and the Youth Issues Candidates’ Forum, as well as influence policies, practices, and resources for youth services in the Spokane area. Student terms are one year, beginning July 1 and ending June 30 of the next year, and adult terms are three years. Applications will be accepted from residents within the City of Spokane and Spokane County.
