The Chase Youth Commission is honoring our community's outstanding youth, teens, and adults. Help us identify everyday youth who are making a difference in our community or making positive choices. Help us show our youth we are proud of their actions and that Spokane really is one of the best communities for young people.
All Nominees will be honored at the annual Chase Youth Awards ceremony in March 2012.
All nominees will receive a nomination ribbon and a certificate. In addition, Individual Award recipients in the ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE SCHOOL, TEEN and ADULT divisions will receive a medallion and letters of commendation.

DIVISION
Elementary, Middle School, Teen Group
Any individual or group of youth attending grades K-12, or equivalent, are eligible for nomination. Multi-age groups will be placed in the division of the oldest member. Emphasis is given to significant contributions made within the last 18 months in Spokane County.
Adult
Individual must be at least 18 years of age and no longer enrolled in high school. Nominees are judged on their asset building effort for Spokane County youth. For more information on 40 Developmental Assets go to: www.search-institute.org

Enriching others through imaginative skills and originality in such activities as acting, dance, music, visual arts, or writing.
Community Involvement
Volunteering to meet a need in the community through action, education, advocacy, or service.
Courage
Standing up for beliefs, values, and personal integrity and taking action during challenging circumstances to make a difference.
Cultural Awareness
Valuing cultural and/or social diversity through action, lifestyle awareness or education.
Environment
Demonstrating leadership and commitment to heighten awareness about environmental issues and promote actions that lead toward sustainability.
Leadership
Demonstrating the ability to lead others toward a positive goal.
Personal Achievement
Overcoming obstacles or personal challenges through initiative and determination.
