Promise Places are locations where young people are able to receive all Five Promises – caring adults, safe places, a healthy start and future, effective education, and opportunities to serve.  The delivery of promises is focused on serving youth where they gather.  Any community location can be nominated to be deemed a Promise Place by providing evidence of how at least four of the Five Promises are delivered.

Youth who receive four of the Five Promises are far more likely to be successful, twice as likely to get A’s, twice as likely to avoid violence, and 40 percent more likely to volunteer. Receiving four of the Five Promises has the potential to level the playing field for youth across racial and economic lines.
