ELEMENTARY GROUP – COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

This next club has been active members of the Camp Fire USA Inland Northwest Council since 2005. In the past five years that they’ve been together as a club they’ve created and participated in many service projects. Just this past year they held a food drive for the Second Harvest food Bank, a pet drive which was donated to the Spokane Humane Society, a car wash that benefited the Honoring Heroes Program, and finally made blankets and cards to share with residents of a Retirement home where they travelled to as a field trip to present them personally and sing Christmas carols. In addition, every year they participate in Camp Fire’s annual school drive called “Kids helping Kids back to school”. This club is a great example of Camp Fire’s motto, “Give Service”, because they are always willing to give to others and make things happen.
