ELEMENTARY – COURAGE

This nine year old award winner is like many other children her age; she comes to school each day with a smile on her face and a positive attitude and excels in her work. She is always helping others, is a leader in her classroom, and is highly respected by her peers and teacher. What is amazing about this young lady is the great amount of courage that it takes for her to do all those things, because she’s had to deal with the trauma of her father being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Even in the face of hardship she is always willing to be an exceptional daughter by inspiring her family and friends by the courage she shows to maintain that positive attitude.
