Our adult asset builder winner is the real deal! What you see is what you get. She is not confined to norms, is forward thinking and thinks outside the box. In her role as an administrator for Spokane Public Schools she became aware of the need for a program in the District that would help reduce the high school dropout rates. She knew that there was a better way to help students stay in school and graduate with hope and a sense of purpose. Empowering others is what she does best and constantly strives to improve and push the limits in her service to others. Other words that come to mind include; multi-tasker extraordinaire, peace keeper, problem solver, excellent communicator, and perseverance. On Track Academy is the program that she has developed to help students complete high school and go on to be productive, caring and committed community members. What makes this program different from others in the District is the relationship building, resources, services and support that all students receive. Students are involved in planning and decision making, peaceful conflict resolution and leadership activities.
