TEEN – CULTURAL AWARENESS

This next award winner consistently demonstrates strength, compassion, and leadership that impacts every person she comes into contact with. Her heart for people and creating a positive impact in the world has sparked a wildfire of change throughout her community. As a participant in our summer youth program, she was able to explore and grow into the amazing gifts that Creator has blessed her with. The love she has for people, her culture, and bringing hope into the world is a passion that changes the heart and challenges the soul. She is a rare friend with enough strength to carry the burdens of many others as she works to bring positive light into a dark and broken world. This young lady is living proof that having a positive attitude, even in the face of extreme adversity, is the only way to live life to the fullest. The difficult choices that she makes everyday to rise above the worlds standards and press on towards a vision of life that is greater than herself is not only what drives her passion for living but also for those around her she inspires everyday. In our community and throughout the entire Kalispel Reservation she is creating a ripple affect of hope, compassion, and positive change that are impacting lives for generations to come
