ELEMENTARY – SPIRIT OF JIM CHASE

This class loads up on the bus every Friday afternoon to visit the residents of Sunshine Gardens. They plan all week for the adventure which includes games and activities where students and seniors are equally engaged. The resident’s of Sunshine Gardens really enjoy the attention and is a highlight of their week. What’s very impressive is their considerate nature, and their sense responsibility to care for their senior friends. This group is to be commended for the lessons they learn by leaving the classroom one day a week to be special friends.
